April 5th, QingMing Festival, a grand traditional festival, observed by Chinese over 2500 years, is the Ancestors' Day. Chinese families visit the tombs of their ancestors and pray to their ancestors.
April 17th, Easter, a principal festival of Christian culture, which celebrates the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. For children, it's happily connected to Easter colorful egg hunt.
April 22nd, Earth Day, hihilulu's favorite action day. It's also the monthly theme of environment education at hihilulu Atelier and in its partener schools.
April 23rd, International Day of Book, a day of promoting reading, publishing and copyright. What a coincidence! The date is also the anniversary of the death of William Shakespeare and Inca Garcilaso de la Vega, as well as that of the birth or death of several other prominent authors.
